The Plan

31st October 2009 is the launch date!

The plan for 2009 is for Christians to order hundreds of thousands of gift packs and to give them away to non-church going children. As a spectacular way to launch and take back Halloween for Jesus, we want Christians throughout the UK to buy and give packs away to ‘trick or treating’ children on Halloween night. The packs could also be given as Birthday and Christmas presents to children who have not heard the gospel. All you have to pay for is shipping.

Blazing Glory Flight Bags contain:
• A Bible – This International Children’s version is clear and simply translated for children to understand.

• An Adventure Story Book: Blazing Glory ‘Trick or Treat?’* – Follow Oscar, Penny and friends as they fly through exciting adventures learning truths of the Bible along the way!

*WARNING – This story is extremely powerful in showing children (and adults!) the key principles of the gospel. We would love for you to read it, but be warned, you may find it difficult to put down!!

• A Specially Designed Compass – To use with the characters in the book on this amazing journey in discovering the Bible and a relationship with Jesus

• Information on a local Church – Space in the Flight Bag to include information about your church and local children’s work

This initial contact with children and families is followed up by the Blazing Glory website. The Children’s area ‘High Flyers’ includes weekly online interactive journeys that help children take new steps on their walk with God! called ‘The Fight Academy’. This teaches the children new gospel truth every week using characters from the book in a flash animation format.
Teaching and activity materials for Sunday Schools, Children’s Clubs and Parents will also be available on the website in the ‘Teaching Wing’ area.

In 2010 we want to take the Blazing Glory stage show to theatres around the UK, before we launch the second book in the series.
